Goldi Rocks and the Three Bears

Corey Rosen Schwartz and Beth Coulton gave a groovy new twist to a classic fairy tale, writing a story that literally – and literarily - rocks!

In this updated version, the most famous and adorable bear family in the literary world has a rock band, and they’re looking for the perfect lead singer – a soprano – to take their music to a higher level. Could Goldi be the golden voice they need?

Beyond hilariousness, this book is a truly fabulous work of art, in every single aspect. It’s wonderfully written, totally witty and hip, and, if all that wasn’t enough, it is also packed with the most excellent rhyme. Every verse sings, giving the story a unique musical quality that fits the concept perfectly.

Nate Wragg’s illustrations are beautiful, lovely, and extremely cute. Without losing that timeless fairy tale charm - giving each page an enchanting warm and cozy feel -, his style harmonizes a classical sweetness with a swinging upbeat groove.

Every beat is fun and marvelous, making this picture book a real delight for kids - even for the not so little ones (myself included) who have already passed the two digits (long ago).

Goldi Rocks and her furry friends have definitely earned a snug spot in my heart!
